I took it upon myself to chair a 300-person banquet… I never met a to-do list that couldn't tangle me in knots and trip me up.  I never met a plan that couldn't surprise me with masses of last minute unforseen details.  Emily sure handedly outlined a method of planning (for "spatial thinkers," she said), eliminating for me the concept of an action plan.
